Takura Terry is a folk/indie musician whose soulful sounds are deeply rooted in Afro influences. His music is a storytelling journey, weaving real-life experiences into melodies that resonate with honesty and emotion.

Originally starting out as a rapper, Takura discovered a deeper calling in music that spoke closer to his heart. In 2017, he made the bold decision to leave his career as a chef and fully dedicate himself to his dream of becoming a musician. Since then, he has been crafting a unique sound that blends folk, indie, and Afro-soul into something truly his own.

His debut album Folks introduced audiences to his raw storytelling and heartfelt style, followed by Red Wine and Coffee, which further cemented his voice in the indie-folk space. Currently, he is working on his highly anticipated third project, Red Wine and Whistles, promising to bring listeners even closer to his world of soulful reflection and rhythm.
